getComponents is a member of the SoftLayer_Hardware_Server service.

Overview

Retrieve a hardware's components. Hardware components include hard drives, processors, drive controllers, etc.

User Access

Users wishing to execute getComponents service must have the View Hardware permission assigned to their account.

Return Type

getComponents returns the SoftLayer_Hardware_ComponentArray data type.
